I would like to know the name of the song you sang before the break Friday night,my daughter was wanting her husband to hear it. We just found out that we are moving next week to a mere 45 minutes from Gulf Shores. Visited there a couple of weeks ago and the dangerous marine life one of our days were stingrays swimming among those millions of bait fish. Plenty of beautiful beaches that were safe, though.

We live in the midwest but love the ocean. It is a great place to recharge and we all need that once in awhile. You are a great blogger and a great worship leader. It allows me to keep up with you/your family and our old church home.
I’m talking LOTS AND LOTS OF FISH. I saw your video for “Got skills”, and I was thinking that you should appeal more to your teens for help in the music. Their is some really great talent out there, and attracting them into church can only be a blessing!

What has happened in the years since is something Travis will never get over. It’s been a crazy, wild, wonderful adventure, proof positive that when Paul says God “is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine,” well, he’s not kidding. Travis and his family have learned that lesson firsthand. His ministry is fueled by his desire to see this generation of the body of Christ come together for a place of unity in worship…using all of what God has ordained for His praise.
Ahhh, the blessing of time with the family…..time to ponder…. I'm an ocean girl and during the last trip we took to Myrtle Beach, we couldn't swim because of sharks. I never remember that growing up and I've gone there all my life. It has been a CRAZY year, with our move, with a new, very time-consuming job, and with the writing of the book.
My Hope
She had 4 days to learn about 40 songs. I’m so thankful for that prompting from the Lord. Mandisa sang with us for 5 years, and even managed our ministry office for much of that time.
To add to the fun-ness of this event, it was also our first time with our sweet Mandisa as part of our team. Another one of our team members, Nirva Ready, had just taken a job singing on the road with TobyMac, and had to pull out of our Charlotte trip . I had met Mandisa a few weeks earlier, singing with her at a spring revival at LifeWay. The Lord prompted my heart to call her and ask her to join us in Charlotte.
Believe in Christmas
Also living nearby is their daughter Kelsey, inspirational actress and wife of Christian recording artist Kyle Kupecky. Yes, plan on being there in Charlotte! A trio at our church this morning did the Revelation song and it made me think of LPL.
I love Beth and love you and your worship team! Jesus Saves Live is my most favorite…my girls and I listen to it ALL the time especially when something is going on that we need to stay focused on the One who can help. His current favorite hobby is to stay busy volunteering at his kids’ school…encouraging kids at play practices, basketball games and tennis matches. I can’t wait to get home and see my family! I will write more later about the great weekend. This was the first set of consecutive days in months that I had time to actually think and process thoughts and ponder and evaluate.
I nearly pondered myself to death a couple of days, but it was good. It was so needed and so refreshing for me. One of the things the time allowed me to do was look at my life and decide where I could be giving a better effort, and make wiser investments . Recently, my wife has been calling me on the carpet for not being a very thoughtful blogger…and certainly not a very consistent one. After having this break, I’m encouraged and motivated to put my thoughts down on “paper” here more consistently.

Speaking of marveling at things…on our second day we headed to the shore and quickly saw the “Hazardous Marine Life” flag billowing in the strong ocean breeze. I’m an ocean guy, and I’ve trained my kids to be the same. We love nothing more than bobbing up and down in the waves for hours on end. So our Tuesday morning dreams were shattered pretty quickly when we saw huge schools of tens of thousands of little minnow-looking fish. I’m talking fish as thick as the sand we were standing on.
